peare's First Folio plays were staged between 1920 and 1925 (or 1918-1923 depending on source), and then again between 1953 and 1958

The Old Vic

Theatre near Waterloo Station in London
Built 1816-1818 as the Royal Coburg Theatre, changed in 1833 to Royal Victoria Theatre then The New Victoria in 1871. In 1879/1880 it re-opened as The Royal Victoria Coffee Music Hall.
Was bought by the public in 1886 and became The Old Vic after Lilian Baylis took over in 1912.
Closed due to war between 1940 and 1950, the Old Vic Company used the New Theatre as their home during this time.
