Shaftesbury Theatre

Theatre in London's West End. The name Shaftesbury Theatre has actually been given to two separate theatres over the year.
The first Shaftesbury Theatre opened in October 1888. It was destroyed by a bomb on the 17th April 1941.
The current Shaftesbury Theatre opened as the Princes Theatre in December 1911, before gaining its current name in 1963.
