Adelphi Theatre

Theatre in London's West End. Opened on 27th November 1806 as the Sans Pereil. Became the Adelphi Theatre in 1819 then the Theatre Royal, Adelphi in 1829.
Re-opened in 1858 as the Theatre Royal, New Adelphi, changed in 1867 to the Royal Adelphi Theatre.
Rebuilt again in 1901 and briefly held the name Century Theatre before reverting to the Royal Adelphi less than a year later.
A fourth building opened in December 1930 (still as the Royal Adelphi) before finally settling as the Adelphi Theatre in 1940.
