The Royal Ballet
Based at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden
Earliest incarnation was the Vic-Wells Ballet, performing at The Old Vic from 1926-1931.
In 1931 they moved to the Sadler's Wells Theatre and became the Sadler's Wells Ballet (but continued to give some performances at the The Old Vic until 1934).
Have been at the Royal Opera House since 1946, becoming The Royal Ballet after being awarded a Royal Charter in 1956.
